kittyhawk99200 asked: Are there different moves or something? I’m starting yoga on my own and don’t know what to choose.

There are poses (asanas) that are energizing/invigorating (ideal for morning*), and asanas that are calming/relaxing (nice for evening).
However, in your own experience, you may discover some poses that others label invigorating that you find to be relaxing (or vice versa).
Try it and listen/be aware of your own perception.

traditionally morning is the best time to practice yoga, soon after waking and before eating anything.
the mind is less cluttered at this time of the day, and although the body will be stiffer, yoga pays greater dividends because of this (i.e you work harder).
in the west most people practice yoga in the evening after work, but this is only to do with lifestyle. if you have the luxury of choice i would recommend the mornings. and make it part of your morning routine.
apart from that, you wouldn’t want to do a vigorous backbend sequence just before bedtime (it might keep you awake), but your yoga practice can be similar at both times of day.
