How can I become more flexible?
I<3ct asked:
I’m a novice horse rider, and flexibility is becoming an issue for me.
I took a yoga class at school, and I was the least flexible in my class of 25. I can’t even touch my toes.
Are there any books you can recommend that illustrate some stretches I can do?
How can I improve my flexibility? You don’t have to give me specific stretches, just books that you can recommend or exercises I can do.
Thanks!

well… i dont really see how books can help you that much. what you have to do is gradely ease into flexibility. keep doing the same streaches each day, slowing going farther or holding it longer each day. hope i helped.

Try stretching on a daily basis 2-3 times a day. Try these too you have to do them regularly though. otherwise it won’t work

Well, what you could do is possibly ask a friend that dances, or a friend that does yoga to help you out with some streches. Or, you could try and go into a spit, and try and go down farther each day. The go into a middle split. try going down farther each day, or you could go against two couches, two corners, where ever and put your legs against them and push your legs against them, but don’t hurt yourself. You could also put your legs up on the wall and drop them until they eventually touch they floor. OR, you could put your legs against the wall and push up against it. You could also ask some friends that do some sports to show you some streches.

Well, yoga is the best exercise for that, just don’t pressure yourself too much it will take time and dedication.
