Miss Independent asked: I’ve been doing a lot of pilates lately, and boy does it make your body feel great. I run on the treadmill as well, but nothing compares to pilates. What exactly is pilates doing to my body that’s making it feel so good?

The theorie is that disciplines such as pilates, yoga and stretching enable increased lymphatic flow removing fluid and wast products from areas that normally sit stagnant. On top of that there is increased blood flow and the stretching action streches muscles releasing adrenalin and hormones such as testosterone which make you feel charged and alive.
