How long after I start pilates will I see my muscular legs lean out?

k, i heard that i should do the pilates excercise 3 or 4 days a week for my legs and that it would help to lean them out. im 5″2 at 125lbs. will it take months? and if you disagree that it will help, please tell me! thanks so much.

    you can work to lengthen and balance your body, which will help. I would add more pilates & yoga to start with. Running, weights, and cardio tapes are all great exercises that you should continue doing, but I would reduce the frequency of them and replace some of that time with pilates & yoga to lengthen.
    In your training your quads at the front of your thigh/hip are getting a lot of work. Make sure that your hamstrings, glutes, and inner thighs are getting the same attention. And stretch your quads/hip flexors as much as your hamstrings after weights or any cardio.
    Try that for 2-3 months and see if it makes a difference–I think it will!
